.DISCUSSION...Strong NW winds continue this afternoon through Saturday with
sustained winds between 10 to 20 mph and gusts as high as 40 mph.
Gusts will be strongest directly along the coast, mountain
gaps/passes, and across the higher terrain. Elevated fire weather
concerns continue for the interior Bay Area and Central Coast
through early Saturday morning due to dry conditions and gusty
winds. Temperatures cool down over the weekend with widespread good
overnight recoveries returning but dry daytime conditions will
persist across the interior. The edge of a boundary passing through
northern California will clip the North Bay with a low chance for
isolated rain showers Saturday afternoon and evening. If any showers
are able to develop, wetting rains are not expected and the
potential for thunderstorms is less than 5 percent.
