.DISCUSSION...Cool conditions continue today as an upper level low
moves over the region, allowing for a deep marine layer at around
3000 feet or more. Winds are generally gentle to moderate this
afternoon and evening with gusts of 20 to 30 mph limited to
favored gaps and passes and the northern Salinas Valley. As the
low moves eastward on Friday, the marine layer will begin to
compress and temperatures will rise, coming near the seasonal
averages through the weekend.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
