.DISCUSSION...Below normal temperatures continue through Thursday
before a warming trend, bringing back seasonal highs, begins
Friday into the weekend. High pressure will build across the West
Coast this weekend with the marine layer compressing to around
1000-1200 ft this weekend. Good overnight recoveries and fair
daytime humidity retention continues for locations within the
marine layer. Localized elevated fire weather concerns continue
for the higher elevations above the marine layer where poor to
fair overnight recoveries and poor daytime humidity retention
continues. Further drying is expected across the higher
elevations Saturday into next week with daytime humidity values
dropping to between 15% to 25%.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
