.DISCUSSION...Elevated fire weather concerns persist in the higher
terrain above the marine layer, especially above 2000 feet this
weekend. Conditions should improve through the next week, as a
gradual cooling trend begins and onshore flow increases. Breezy
and gusty winds are expected along the coast, through the gaps and
passes, and within the Salinas Valley each afternoon and evening,
with gusts to around 25 mph expected.
Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.
