...The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in
California...

  Russian River at Johnsons Beach at Guerneville affecting Sonoma
  County.

For the Russian River...including Johnsons Beach at Guerneville...
Minor flooding is forecast.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.

Please report observed flooding to local emergency services or law
enforcement and request they pass this information to the National
Weather Service when you can do so safely.

...FLOOD WARNING NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL EARLY SUNDAY MORNING...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Russian River at Johnsons Beach at Guerneville.

* WHEN...Until early Sunday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 35.0 feet, Moderate flooding is forecast along the
  lower Russian River. Numerous businesses and residences in the
  lowest sections of towns within the reach are expected to flood.
  In Guerneville Brookside Resort begins to flood. More extensive
  flooding occurs at Parkers Resort. In Northwood lower Redwood
  Drive floods.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 PM PST Friday the stage was 32.9 feet.
  - Bankfull stage is 32.0 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:00 PM PST Friday was 32.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.9
    feet late tonight. It will then fall below flood stage
    tomorrow afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
  - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of
    34.7 feet on 12/04/1950.
