.Synopsis for the Central California Coast and Bays Including
the Monterey Bay...Greater Farallones...and Cordell Bank National
Marine Sanctuaries...

Fresh to strong northwest winds and rough seas up to 12 feet
persist across the outer coastal waters and the inner waters north
of Point Reyes through mid week. Occasional gale force gusts are
possible across the far northern outer waters through midweek.
Gusty onshore winds continue across the San Pablo/Suisun Bays and
the Delta through Monday. Long period southerly swells at around
15 to 17 seconds continue across the southern waters.

ACROSS THE BAR...Swell can be more than twice as high across the
bar than surrounding waters. Waves are also more prone to break,
particularly during strong ebb currents. Maximum ebb current of
1.4 kt at 02:30 PM Sunday and 3.1 kt at 02:18 AM Monday.
