...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM MDT THIS MORNING...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Likelihood of minor impacts from snow is 80
  percent and 50 percent for moderate impacts. Total snow
  accumulations of 1 to 2 inches.

* WHERE...Georgetown Lake, Homestake Pass, MacDonald Pass, Highway
  12 Garrison to Elliston, and Butte.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM MDT this morning.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will be
  slick and hazardous. Winter traveling conditions. For MINOR
  impacts from snow, expect a few inconveniences to normal
  activities. For MODERATE impacts from snow, expect disruptions to
  normal activities. Use caution while driving. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Wednesday morning commute, especially
  over higher passes.

MDT THURSDAY...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Likelihood of minor to moderate impacts from
  around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 70 percent. Snow will develop in
  Eureka first, then spread southwards during the day Thursday.

* WHERE...Highway 56 Bull Lake Road, Highway 37 Eureka to Libby,
  Highway 2 Kalispell to Happy`s Inn, and Highway 93 Eureka to
  Whitefish.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 3 PM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate snow could result in slush buildup on roadways,
  potentially affecting daytime travel. For MINOR impacts from snow,
  expect a few inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution
  while driving. Winter traveling conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Thursday morning commute, especially
  over higher passes.

* WHAT...Snow expected. Likelihood of minor to moderate impacts from
  around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 100 percent, and 3 to 6 inches of
  snow is 80 percent.

* WHERE...Bad Rock Canyon, Polebridge, Essex, Highway 83 Bigfork to
  Swan Lake, and Marias Pass.

* WHEN...From midnight tonight to 3 PM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will
  likely become slick and hazardous. For MODERATE impacts from snow,
  expect disruptions to normal activities. Use extra caution while
  driving. The hazardous conditions could impact the Thursday
  morning commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Winds: Northeast 10 to 20 mph

  around 1 to 3 inches of snow is 60 percent.

* WHERE...Flathead Valley, Flathead Lake, Polson, and Mission Valley.

* WHEN...From 3 AM to 3 PM MDT Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Moderate snow could result in slush buildup on roadways,
  potentially affecting daytime travel. For MINOR impacts from snow,
  expect a few inconveniences to normal activities. Use caution
  while driving.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Wind: Northeast 10 to 20 mph. Flathead Lake
  will become choppy Thursday afternoon as northerly winds increase.
