.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms are the main impacts for
the fire area today. In order to get the higher end amounts of
forecast precipitation, the burn site will need to be hit directly
by a shower or thunderstorm. Storm total rain amounts in the
models range 0.05-0.50 inches of moisture over a 24 hour period.
The timing of precipitation will be earlier in the day than usual
with showers moving through around noon or even a little sooner.
