.DISCUSSION...A band of weak showers will continue to move over
the fire area this morning. The storms are expected to strengthen
slightly this afternoon with outflow gusts up to 25 mph. The
convection will diminish during the evening, then another round of
storms are expected to move through after midnight. These storms
will also have the potential of outflow winds up to 30 mph. The
storms will diminish by mid morning. Showers and thunderstorms
appear to be farther to the south on Sunday, but can not
completely rule out a storm near the fire. Temperatures will be
slightly cooler today, but then steadily warming Sunday through
Tuesday.
