Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A ridge of high pressure will be building
over the region causing hot and dry conditions. Thermal belts will be
developing and strengthening each night. A few showers and thunderstorms
are expected Friday night then a cold front passes through on Saturday.
Cooler and breezy conditions are anticipated for Saturday and Sunday.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A ridge of high pressure will be
building over the region causing hot and dry conditions. Thermal belts
will be developing and strengthening each night. A few showers and
thunderstorms are expected Friday night then a cold front passes through
on Saturday. Cooler and breezy conditions are anticipated for Saturday
and Sunday.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): A ridge of high pressure will
be building over the region causing hot and dry conditions. Thermal
belts will be developing and strengthening each night. A few showers and
thunderstorms are expected Friday night then a cold front passes
through on Saturday. Cooler and breezy conditions are anticipated for
Saturday and Sunday.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): A ridge of high pressure will be
building over the region causing hot and dry conditions. Thermal belts
will be developing and strengthening each night. Some monsoonal moisture
is expected by Friday afternoon potentially causing high based
thunderstorms. A cold front is expected to pass through late Saturday.
Cooler and breezy conditions are anticipated through Sunday.
