.DISCUSSION...

Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A warming and drying trend is expected for
the next couple of days. Isolated showers and thunderstorms are expected
to move through the area tonight. A dry cold front will cause increased
westerly winds on Wednesday. The combination of winds and low humidity
will create critical fire weather conditions, particularly over the
grass and sage lands of Zone 102. Seasonal temperatures along with
afternoon westerly winds will end the work week into the weekend.


Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A warming and drying trend is expected
for the next couple of days. A relatively dry cold front will cause
increased westerly winds on Wednesday. The combination of winds and low
humidity will create near critical fire weather conditions. A few
showers and thunderstorms are expected along the Canadian border
Wednesday late afternoon/evening. Seasonal temperatures along with
afternoon westerly winds will end the work week into the weekend. More
shower activity is expected to return Friday into the weekend.


West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): A warming and drying trend is
expected for the next couple of days. A dry cold front will cause
increased westerly winds on Wednesday. The combination of winds and low
humidity could create critical fire weather conditions, particularly
over the grasslands west of Highway 93 in Zone 107. Seasonal
temperatures along with afternoon westerly winds will end the work week
into the weekend.


Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): A warming and drying trend is
expected for the next couple of days. Isolated showers and
thunderstorms are expected to move through the area tonight. A dry cold
front will cause increased westerly winds on Wednesday. The combination
of winds and low humidity will create critical fire weather conditions,
particularly over southern zone 110 and all of 111. Storms are also
expected to develop mainly over zone 111 on Wednesday afternoon. The
humidity and winds will once again create concerning fire weather
environment on Thursday afternoon for zone 111. Seasonal temperatures
along with afternoon westerly winds will end the work week into the
weekend.
