.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A west southwesterly flow will bring mostly
dry, warm and breezy conditions today and through the weekend. Westerly
winds gusts around 20 to 25 mph this afternoon, combined with low MinRH
values, will bring elevated fire weather concerns.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A fast moving weather disturbance will
bring cloudy conditions to the Kootenai and Flathead NF this afternoon
and evening. There will be a 20 to 40 percent probability for isolated
lightning this afternoon between 2PM and 8PM. Warm, dry and breezy
conditions are expected Friday through the weekend, with Friday being
the warmest and driest day.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): A warming and drying trend
will continue through the weekend. Westerly wind gusts 20 to 25 mph,
combined with low MinRH values, will create elevated fire weather
concerns for today. Friday will be the warmest and driest day this
weekend and weekend, with temperatures 5 to 8 degrees above normal for
this time of year.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): A warming and drying trend
will continue through the weekend. Westerly wind gusts 20 to 30 mph,
combined with low MinRH values, will create elevated fire weather
concerns for today. Friday will be the warmest and driest day this
weekend and weekend, with temperatures 5 to 8 degrees above normal for
this time of year.
