.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): The ridge of high pressure will continue to
cause hot and dry conditions through mid week. Poor RH recoveries in the
thermal belts are expected each night along with persistent
northeasterly winds. Smoke will also be an issue from regional fires for
the next couple of days.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Isolated showers are expected this
afternoon and again Monday afternoon. Rainfall is anticipated to be
fairly light with these storms, but gusty outflow winds will be a
concern. Hot and dry conditions are expected through mid week along with
strengthen thermal belts. Easterly winds will persist over the region
with the strongest winds occurring Monday night and then again on
Wednesday. Smoke will be an issue from regional fires for the next
couple of days.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Hot and dry conditions are
expected through mid week along with strengthen thermal belts. Easterly
winds will persist over the region with the strongest winds occurring
Monday night and then again on Wednesday. Smoke will be an issue from
regional fires for the next couple of days.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Hot and dry conditions are
expected through mid week along with strengthen thermal belts. Northeasterly
winds will persist over the region. Smoke will be an issue from
regional fires for the next couple of days. Storms are anticipated to
move into the region by the latter part of the week.
