.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102, 103): Humidity trends higher tomorrow along with some
showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and Sunday. The region will remain in
a southwest flow pattern most of next week, making thunderstorms a
possibility most days. Current forecasts show little moisture with any
storms after this weekend.
Northwest MT (Zones 104, 105): A trough over the Pacific Northwest will
cause showers and thunderstorms tomorrow. While the storm potential
decreases Sunday and Monday, relative humidity will remain elevated.
Overall, the region will remain under southwest flow most of next week
which is a typical thunderstorm pattern. Current forecasts favor the
zone 104 for convection and they show little precipitation with any
thunderstorms.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107, 108): Humidity trends higher tomorrow
along with some showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and Sunday. The
region will remain in a southwest flow pattern most of next week, making
thunderstorms a possibility most days. Current forecasts show little
moisture with any storms after this weekend.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110, 111): Relative humidity trends up slightly
tomorrow along with the chance for thunderstorms, and then both go up a
lot for Sunday. On Sunday, storms bring a potential for excessive rain
and flash flooding in steep terrain. A southwest flow pattern pattern
will be replaced by a ridge building in mid to late next week. When the
ridge builds in it will bring some monsoon moisture with it along with
another round of thunderstorms.
