Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Northeasterly winds will continue today while
a ridge of high pressure builds over the Northern Rockies. Hot, dry
conditions will accompany the ridge. Winds will become light and
terrain-driven. Monsoonal moisture will move into the region on
Sunday. Expect increasing clouds and relative humidity, as well as chances
for thunderstorms by midweek.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Easterly winds will continue today
while a ridge of high pressure builds over the Northern Rockies. Hot,
dry conditions will accompany the ridge. Wind direction will stay
easterly for a few more days while windspeeds relax on Saturday. Expect
warm, dry weather to continue well into next week.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Easterly winds will continue today
while a ridge of high pressure builds over the Northern Rockies. Hot,
dry conditions will accompany the ridge. Wind direction will stay
easterly for a few more days while windspeeds relax on Saturday. Expect
warm, dry weather to continue into the middle of next week.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Northeasterly winds will continue
today while a ridge of high pressure builds over the Northern Rockies.
Hot, dry conditions will accompany the ridge. Wind direction will stay
northerly to easterly for a few more days while windspeeds relax on
Saturday. Monsoonal moisture will move into the region on Sunday. Expect
