.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Critical fire weather conditions will continue
through this evening due to low RH and gusty west winds. Cooler
temperatures will be in place tomorrow into Friday. Increasing
instability Friday afternoon may lead to the potential of showers and
thunderstorms.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Elevated fire weather
conditions will continue through this evening due to low RH and gusty
west winds. Cooler temperatures will be in place tomorrow into Friday.
Showers and thunderstorms will be possible Friday and Saturday with zone
104 having a 20 to 40% chance of a wetting rain.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Elevated to critical fire
weather conditions will continue through this evening due to low RH and
gusty west winds. Cooler temperatures will be in place tomorrow into
Friday.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Critical fire weather conditions
will continue through this evening for the Beaverhead/Deerlodge NF due
to gusty west winds and low RHs. A similar threat exists for Thursday,
but mainly for zone 111. Isolated thunderstorms this evening and
tomorrow will allow for minor lightning concerns, mainly south of Dillon.
Dry and windy conditions continue through the weekend leading to
continued elevated fire weather concerns.
