.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Northwest winds and partly cloudy skies will
give way to widespread rain showers arriving later this afternoon.
Precipitation will last through tonight. Snow levels will descend to
about 6000 feet by Sunday morning. Expect cold temperatures on Monday
morning and clearing skies for early in the week.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Northwest winds and partly cloudy
skies will give way to widespread rain or snow showers arriving later
this afternoon. Precipitation will last through Sunday morning. Winds
will become northeasterly tonight with a cold front moving east to west.
Expect gusts of 25 to 30 mph in the higher terrain. Snow levels will
descend to about 3000-4000 feet by Sunday morning. Cold temperatures
arrive on Monday morning under clear skies.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Northwest winds and cloudy
skies this morning will precede widespread rain or snow showers arriving
later this afternoon. Precipitation will last through Sunday. Snow
levels will descend to about 5000 feet by Sunday morning. Winds will
become northeasterly on Sunday with a cold front moving east to west.
Expect gusts of about 25 mph in the higher terrain. Cold temperatures
arrive on Monday morning under clear skies.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Expect cloudy skies and
widespread rain or snow showers lasting through Sunday. Snow levels
