.DISCUSSION...

Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): Precipitation type will transition to more
convective this evening, with hit or miss showers and thunderstorms
developing. If under a stronger shower or thunderstorm, very heavy
rainfall rates are still possible. Tuesday will remain cool and showery
but with overall lower chances of wetting rain unless directly under a
shower or thunderstorm. A warming and drying trend will begin
Wednesday.

Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): Widespread light to moderate
precipitation will continue to spread into the region tonight, with a
low chance of thunderstorms. Cool and wet conditions will continue for
Tuesday, but precipitation will become more convective in nature by
Tuesday afternoon. Very heavy rainfall rates will be possible under
storm cores. A warming and drying trend will begin Wednesday.

West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): Precipitation type will
transition to more convective this evening, with hit or miss showers
and thunderstorms developing. If under a stronger shower or
thunderstorm, very heavy rainfall rates are still possible. Tuesday will
remain cool and showery but with overall lower chances of wetting rain
unless directly under a shower or thunderstorm. Overall, through
Tuesday, wetting rain chances are greatest in 106/107 and lowest in 108.
A warming and drying trend will begin Wednesday.

Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111): Warm, dry and breezy conditions
will continue into this evening for areas south of Dillon, while north
of Dillon, isolated to scattered thunderstorms will develop into this
evening. Thunderstorms will be capable of heavy rainfall rates in
localized areas. Tuesday will trend cooler and showery with afternoon
thunderstorms again capable of heavy rain. A warming and drying trend
will begin Wednesday.
