.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102, 103): Afternoon relative humidity will be much higher
today than yesterday. Along with the higher humidity expect more cloud
cover and some wet thunderstorms this afternoon. The core of any
thunderstorms today will be capable of producing 0.25 to 0.50 inches of
rain in about half an hour. Outside the cores, only a few hundredths of
moisture is expected.
Northwest MT (Zones 104, 105): Afternoon relative humidity will be much
higher today than yesterday. Along with the higher humidity expect more
cloud cover and some wet thunderstorms this afternoon. The core of any
thunderstorms today will be capable of producing 0.25 to 0.50 inches of
rain in about half an hour. Outside the cores, only a few hundredths of
moisture is expected. Models indicate maximum potential of about 55 mph
wind gusts with storms, but they also indicate there is only a 20-30
percent chance of gusts exceeding 40 mph.
