.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A ridge of high pressure has established
itself over the Northern Rockies today. This will bring mostly sunny
conditions with light winds for the next few days. Patchy valley fog and
stratus will be present the next few mornings. Frost will be possible
in the higher elevated communities, such as Elk City each morning as
well. The next chance for precipitation will arrive with a Pacific
trough toward the end of the week, along with increasing westerly winds.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A ridge of high pressure has established
itself over the Northern Rockies today. This will bring mostly sunny
conditions with light winds for the next few days. Patchy valley fog and
stratus will be present the next few mornings. The next chance for
precipitation will arrive with a Pacific trough toward the end of the
week, along with increasing westerly winds.
West Central MT (Zones 106, 107 and 108): A ridge of high pressure has established
itself over the Northern Rockies today. This will bring mostly sunny
conditions with light winds for the next few days. Patchy valley fog and
stratus will be present the next few mornings. Frost will be possible
in the higher elevated communities, Seeley Lake, Clearwater Junction
and Ovando each morning as well. The next chance for precipitation will
arrive with a Pacific trough toward the end of the week, along with
increasing westerly winds.
Southwest MT (Zones 109, 110 and 111):A ridge of high pressure has established
itself over the Northern Rockies today. This will bring mostly sunny
conditions with light winds for the next few days. Patchy valley fog and
stratus will be present the next few mornings. The next chance for
precipitation will arrive with a Pacific trough toward the end of the
week, along with increasing westerly winds.
