.DISCUSSION...
Idaho (Zones 102 and 103): A trough will keep temperatures about 5-10
degrees below normal today, with showers and isolated thunderstorms
mainly this afternoon before ending this evening. Northwesterly flow
returns Sunday, bringing drier conditions and near-normal temperatures.
A ridge builds early next week, bringing a warming trend and hotter,
drier conditions by Tuesday.
Northwest MT (Zones 104 and 105): A trough and low pressure circulation
will keep temperatures about 10 degrees below normal today, with
widespread rain continuing and shifting to occasional showers and
isolated thunderstorms this afternoon. Showers are expected to end
quickly this evening. Northwesterly flow sets up tonight into Sunday,
bringing drier air and near-normal temperatures. Mostly storm-free on
Sunday, except for isolated showers, mainly near Glacier National Park.
