...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 345 PM MDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of east central Idaho, including the following
  county, Lemhi.

This includes the following Specific Areas...
Hwy 93 4th of July Creek to Tower Creek and Moose Fire Burn Area.

* WHEN...Until 345 PM MDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 143 PM MDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area.
  - Slow moving and training thunderstorms are expected to create
    heavy rainfall in flood prone areas of western Lemhi County.
  - This includes the following Specific Areas...
    Hwy 93 4th of July Creek to Tower Creek and Moose Fire Burn
    Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Move away from recently burned areas. Life-threatening flooding of
creeks, roads and normally dry arroyos is likely. The heavy rains
will likely trigger rockslides, mudslides and debris flows in steep
terrain, especially in and around these areas.
