...WINTER STORM WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST TODAY...

* WHAT...Heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet
  accumulations up to two inches and ice accumulations around one
  tenth of an inch or less in valley locations. Moderate to heavy
  snow on the highest ridgetops. Elevations around 2500 feet and
  higher can expect snowfall amounts from 4 to 6 inches. Isolated
  higher totals over 6 inches are possible across the highest
  ridgetops.

* WHERE...Russell, Washington VA, and Wise Counties.

* WHEN...Until noon EST today.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute across valley
  locations. Treacherous travel conditions are possible at
  elevations around 2500 feet and higher.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food, and water in
your vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for
