.SYNOPSIS...

Well above normal temperatures will continue through Wednesday
before some slight relief is seen late this week and into the
weekend. Tuesday and Wednesday will be the warmest days, with highs
in the mid to upper 90s and heat index values between 100 and 108
degrees expected. Most areas will remain dry during this time,
though some isolated afternoon showers and storms will likely
develop each afternoon the higher terrain of the Appalachian
mountains and Cumberland Plateau. Better rain chances will exist
Friday through the weekend.
