...FIRST SNOWFALL OF THE SEASON FOR THE HIGHER TERRAIN OF THE
SMOKY MOUNTAINS LIKELY TONIGHT...

Some light snow accumulation is likely tonight in the Smoky
Mountains and nearby high terrain as showers move into the area
this evening through the early morning hours on Wednesday.

Accumulations of 2" to 4" will be possible above elevations of
roughly 5,000 ft. Some lesser amounts, a dusting to 1", could
occur down to about 4,000 ft in elevation. Some snow could mix in
with rain at times down below 4,000 ft, but do not expect any
accumulations at those levels.
