...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT ANDERSON AND NORTHWESTERN KNOX
COUNTIES THROUGH 545 PM EDT...

At 511 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles southeast of
Jacksboro to 6 miles west of Clinton. Movement was southeast at 15
mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Oak Ridge, Clinton, Halls, Rocky Top, Norris, Norris Dam State Park,
Andersonville, Powell, and Karns.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Morristown.
