Patchy dense fog has developed in the Tennessee Valley and Cumberland Plateau, reducing visibilities to a quarter of a mile or less in some areas. Freezing fog is possible in places that are at or below freezing which currently includes the upper Cumberland Plateau counties. Visibility will start improving by 9 AM. Be prepared for a sudden drop in visibility when traveling this morning. Slow down and use caution. Give yourself extra room between you and the vehicle ahead of you. $$
