This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

The probability for widespread hazardous weather is low.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Elevated fire weather concerns are expected Wendesday due to low
afteroon RH and slightly breezy winds.

Strong winds are expected across the mountains late Friday through
Saturday night.

Severe thunderstorm and flash flooding risk is increasing for
Saturday and Saturday night as a strong storm system moves across
the region. While uncertainty remains on the overall extent of
severe weather, all hazards of severe weather will be possible
including damaging winds, tornadoes, large hail, and flash
flooding. Please continue to monitor for updates as forecast
details and confidence increase throughout the week.

Spotter reports may be needed this weekend for severe
thunderstorms and flooding.
