This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Showers and a few thunderstorms are expected to move in this
evening into tonight. A few storms could become strong to severe
mainly along and near the northern Cumberland Plateau and SW VA,
with isolated damaging winds being the primary hazard along with a
very low risk of an isolated tornado.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Thursday through Tuesday

A few strong to severe storms will be possible again Thursday,
mainly over the northern Cumberland Plateau and across southwest
VA and northeast TN. Damaging winds is the main threat, along
with a very low risk of an isolated tornado.

A wet pattern is expected through early next week. Some flooding
issues will be possible particularly in Southwest Virginia and the
Upper Cumberland Plateau in places that got several inches of
rain last week.
