This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

Wind gusts between 20-30 mph are expected this afternoon and
tonight. In higher elevations, gusts could approach 45 mph at
times.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for portions of the East
Tennessee mountains and southwest Virginia through Saturday
morning. Please see advisory for additional details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Saturday through Thursday

There is potential for a heavy rain event around Thanksgiving Day,
with possibly up to 2 inches of rain in some locations. Confidence
is fairly low, at this time, as to where the heaviest rain will
occur. But flooding is the main hazard of concern near
Thanksgiving.
