This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of southwest North
Carolina...east Tennessee and southwest Virginia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight

A widespread frost and freeze is expected tonight into Wednesday
morning. A hard freeze is expected across the mountains, plateau,
northeast Tennessee, and southwest Virginia. Precautions should be
taken to protect vulnerable vegetation.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Graupel or small hail cannot be ruled out with showers Thursday
afternoon due to strong cold air aloft.

Light snow accumulation will be possible across the higher
elevations of the mountains on Friday night, mainly above 3000
feet.
