.DISCUSSION...
A line of showers and storms will move into Cocke County sometime
between 9 and 11 PM this evening. Gusty winds up to 50 mph are
possible with any stronger storms. Depending on the orientation
of the line of storms, the wind direction could range from
westerly to northwesterly. Rainfall amounts will vary depending on how
organized the storms remain by the time they reach Cocke County,
but rainfall amounts should average around 0.5 inches. Showers
and storms should exit east by 1 AM Saturday morning.
Otherwise, low to medium rain chances Saturday night into Sunday.
Next week will turn significantly colder, with hard freezes
likely Monday and Tuesday mornings. Also, light snowfall in the
mountains Sunday night into Monday.
