.DISCUSSION...

A band of showers and embedded thunderstorms was situated from the
Kentucky border, southward through the SAR location and greater Knox
metro area this afternoon. Radar trends suggest this will continue to
affect the SAR location for at least another couple of hours, but
potentially longer. Trends have been downward with regard to lightning
so that threat should be fairly low for the next hour perhaps, but
there is enough instability around to warrant concern for additional
lightning as we go through the afternoon.

Rainfall chances should taper off this evening and remain relatively
low overnight. Additional showers and thunderstorms are possible tomorrow
but I expect coverage will be much less than today.
