Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
335 AM EDT Sun Apr 20 2025

.DISCUSSION...

Dry and very warm conditions can be expected through Easter. An
isolated shower or storm over the Cumberland Plateau cannot be
ruled out this afternoon. A weakening front will bring chances for
showers and thunderstorms Monday into Tuesday with moderate
rainfall amounts. Warm weather will persist through the week,
with a more unsettled weather pattern to return late week.
