.DISCUSSION...

Drier conditions will continue into Tuesday, though still hot and
muggy. Limited diurnal shower and storm chances will be confined to
higher elevations of East Tennessee mountains and southwest North
Carolina through Tuesday. Rain chances increase area wide with
temperatures trending closer to seasonal norms for the latter half
of the week.
