.DISCUSSION...

A typical summer pattern will continue through the weekend and next
week, with hot and muggy afternoons and evenings. Scattered to
numerous storms will continue each afternoon and evening. Localized
flooding will be possible at times through Sunday evening. Highs in
the 90s and heat index values near or above 100 can be expected in
the Tennessee Valley next week.
