.DISCUSSION...

Morning showers and thunderstorms will come to an end as morning
progresses, yielding a lull in rain. Additional showers and
thunderstorms are expected this afternoon through tonight. Some
strong to severe storms with gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and
frequent lightning are likely this afternoon and evening. Seasonable
June temperatures and daily chances for showers and storms will
continue into early next week.
