Fire Weather Planning Forecast for East Tennessee...Southwest
Virginia...and Extreme Southwest North Carolina
National Weather Service Morristown TN
132 AM EDT Mon Aug 4 2025

.DISCUSSION...

An unseasonably cool airmass will keep high temperatures below
average for early August, with most locations seeing highs only in
the low 80s through the first half of the week. Rain chances will
continue each day as an upper level low pressure system remains
parked over the region.
