...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM THURSDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Blizzard conditions possible. Snow accumulations of 2 to 5
  inches during Thursday afternoon and Thursday night. Winds could
  gust as high as 55 mph.

* WHERE...Keweenaw, Northern Houghton, and Ontonagon Counties.

* WHEN...From Thursday morning through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Whiteout conditions are possible and will make travel
  treacherous and potentially life-threatening. Plan on slippery
  road conditions. The hazardous conditions will impact the Thursday
  evening commute. Strong winds could cause damage to trees and lead
  to power outages.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow tonight into early Thursday morning will
  produce 1 to 4 inches of snow accumulation before the lake effect
  snow and strong winds develop around noon on Thursday.

THURSDAY NIGHT...

* WHAT...Lake effect snow and considerable blowing snow possible.
  Snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches from mid afternoon on Thursday
  through Thursday night. Winds could gust as high as 45 mph.

* WHERE...Baraga and Southern Houghton Counties.

* WHEN...From Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night.

* IMPACTS...Visibilities may drop below 1/4 mile due to falling and
  blowing snow. Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous
  conditions will impact the Thursday evening commute. Gusty winds
  could bring down tree branches.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow tonight into early Thursday morning will
  produce 1 to 3 inches of snow accumulation before lake effect snow
  and strong winds develop during Thursday afternoon.
