...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN IRON...SOUTHEASTERN
GOGEBIC...SOUTHWESTERN HOUGHTON...SOUTHEASTERN ONTONAGON AND WEST
CENTRAL BARAGA COUNTIES THROUGH 530 PM EDT/430 PM CDT/...

At 440 PM EDT/340 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles southwest of
Rockland to near Boulder Junction. Movement was east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Watersmeet, Rockland, Kenton, Bruce Crossing, Mass City, Paulding,
Nisula, Sidnaw, Norwich, Tamarack Lake, Trout Creek, Pomeroy Lake,
Golden Lake, Victoria Dam, Prickett Dam, Paint Lake, Thousand Island
Lake, Echo Lake, Pelkie, and Bond Falls.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
