A lake enhanced band off of Lake Superior is bringing snowfall rates of half an inch an hour or more to the Marquette/Harvey area and US-41 south of town this morning, bringing visibilities down to half a mile or less. Snow could quickly pile up on roadways, and visibilities will be reduced in the heavy snow band.
