...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT THE MENOMINEE AREA THROUGH 415
AM CDT...
At 329 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southeast of Pound, or 13 miles west of Marinette, moving east
at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
possible.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
