Warm and dry weather persists today under surface high pressure.
Light S to SW winds are expected to pick up near 10 kts this
afternoon before a backdoor cold front presses into the region from
the north, veering winds to the E then NE this evening into tonight.
Winds will remain light behind the wind shift. RHs are expected to
fall between 35-40% this afternoon, though its possible they could
fall as low as 25-35% during peak mixing hours this late afternoon
given the recent stretch of dry weather and soils. Good RH recovery
will occur tonight above 80-90%. Tomorrow, clear to partly cloudy
conditions expected with no precipitation. Breezy E winds 5-10 kts
become E to SE 10-15 kts during the afternoon. RHs will only fall as
low as 50%.
