FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Thu May 15 2025

...No Fire Weather Concerns...

.DISCUSSION... A more humid airmass in place and expected rainfall
this evening/into the weekend will help mitigate fire weather
concerns for the near future. Late this evening and into the
overnight hours Friday, a line of strong to severe thunderstorms is
expected to bring widespread rainfall. Since storms will be fairly
quick moving, soaking rains are not expected, but 0.25 to 0.5" is
possible.
