.DISCUSSION...

Despite occasional bouts of high pressure (including today),
abundant low level moisture will keep minimum RHs around or above 50
percent throughout the next week. For today, expect northeast winds
around 10 mph with gusts to 15 mph (locally higher, especially near
Lake Superior). Tonight through Monday, chances of thunderstorms
spread from west to east. Precip totals by Monday evening in the
west may approach 1 inch, though the central UP is only expected to
see a quarter to a half inch of rain and the eastern UP will only
see up to a tenth of an inch of rain. Winds on monday will shift to
be out of the southeast at around 10 mph with gusts up to 15 mph,
except over the Keweenaw where gusts to 25 mph are possible.
