FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN

.DISCUSSION...After a round of showers and storms this morning,
additional showers and storms are possible again this afternoon into
tonight. Strong to severe storms bringing damaging winds and large
hail are possible this afternoon and evening with this second round,
mainly over the central and eastern U.P. Additional rain
accumulations of a few hundreths to 0.25 inches are expected, but
stronger storms may bring up to 0.5 to 1 inch of rain. Another round
of showers and storms is possible Monday afternoon and evening.

Otherwise, highs today will be in the mid 70s to upper 80s with
minimum RH expected at or above 50 percent. South to southwest winds
are expected around 10 mph with gusts up to 20 mph during the day.
RH recovers tonight as temps only settle into the upper 50s to 60s.
Expect more 70s to mid 80s on Monday, but lower RH down near 45
percent is expected in the west.
