.DISCUSSION...Borderline elevated fire weather conditions will be
possible today, mainly for interior western and central Upper
Michigan. In these areas, daytime heating into the upper 70s to near
80F and mixing allowing RH values to fall into the upper 20s to low
30s is expected. Winds will be light and mostly 10-15mph or less;
afternoon lake breezes are expected to push well inland this
afternoon. Isolated showers may develop this afternoon across the
west. Shower chances increase tonight slowly in the west, then
become more widespread during the day Friday across mainly central
and western Upper Michigan. Some thunderstorms may develop by
afternoon.
