FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Sat May 17 2025

...Cooler, More Moist This Weekend...

.DISCUSSION...Cooler temperatures move in today as wrap around
moisture from the departing low brings light rain showers across the
area, mainly the northern tier near Lake Superior. The light rain
showers continue tonight into Sunday as a secondary low moves into
the area and brings the coolest temperatures of the week to the
Upper Michigan. Conditions at the sfc today through Sunday are
expected to be fairly moist, even if we could gust as high as 30 mph
today.
