FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Wed Aug 13 2025

.DISCUSSION...

No fire weather concerns are expected over the next several days;
RHs look to remain above 45% and winds look to be mostly light.
While cooler air and potentially some light sfc smoke is expected
today, expect a gradual warming (and moistening) trend as the
ridging passes overhead today/tonight; this will set us up with
southerly flow behind it late this week. Rain shower and storm
chances return this weekend, with the weekend rainfall potentially
being soaking (1+ inches) across portions of Upper Michigan.
