FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
601 AM EDT Tue Jul 22 2025

.DISCUSSION...

High pressure shifts east today which will help establish southerly
flow over the region and bring in a warm and humid airmass. Daytime
highs will peak in the low to mid 80s west and near 80 central and
east while minimum RH values fall only into the 50s east. The warm
and humid airmass will support showers and thunderstorms,
potentially by afternoon in the western third. Tonight, additional
showers and storms will be possible, potentially yielding heavy or
very heavy rain and severe winds and large hail.
