FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
532 AM EDT Sun Apr 20 2025

...DRY TODAY, RAIN AND WINTRY MIX RETURN TONIGHT INTO MONDAY...

.DISCUSSION: High pressure keeps today dry. Mixing this afternoon
brings RHs down into the 30s away from the great lakes; some
upper 20s are possible in the far west. That said, winds generally
hold below 15 mph. Highs are expected in the mid 40s to mid 50s.
Cloud cover increases from the south this afternoon ahead of the
next low pressure system.

Rain expands northward this evening through tonight with a wintry
mix beginning over the west and north central late tonight into
Monday. A mix of snow and rain, more wintry precipitation to the
west and north, continues Monday into Monday night. System liquid
precipitation is expected between 0.75-1.25 inches across Upper
Michigan. Dry weather gradually returns from west to east into
Tuesday.
