...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 215 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring.

* WHERE...Portions of central Upper and western Upper Michigan,
  including the following counties, in central Upper Michigan,
  Baraga. In western Upper Michigan, Houghton.

* WHEN...Until 215 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1006 AM EDT, the public reported flooding in the advisory
    area. Minor flooding is already occurring. Between 1 and 4
    inches of rain have fallen.
  - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is
    expected.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Baraga, L`anse, Keweenaw Bay and Assinins.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
