The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  South Central Chippewa County in west central Wisconsin...
  Northeastern Eau Claire County in west central Wisconsin...

* Until 245 AM CDT.

* At 212 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Lake
  Wissota, or 11 miles northeast of Eau Claire, moving south at 15
  mph.

  HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Damage to vehicles is expected.

* Locations impacted include...
  Chippewa Falls, Lake Hallie, Lake Wissota, Cadott, Fall Creek,
  Ludington and Bateman.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Seek shelter inside a well-built structure and stay away from
windows. This storm is capable of producing large hail.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead
to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
